“What are AdventureShed Rewards Points?”
AdventureShed Rewards are points you earn from activies on our site. Everything from purchases, to reviews, to random submissions we request (Yes, you can earn points for FREE!). Rewards points are awesome in that they can be redeemed for Free products, discounts on purchases, sometimes we even hold contests to see who can earn the most points in a given period of time! There are many ways to earn points, the most common is through purchases on our site. Currently, for every dollar you spend on full price products your earn 10 rewards points, on discounted products you earn 5 points. (Note: you must have an account on our site to earn rewards, to create an account click here)
"How do I get AdventureShed Points?"
There are a variety of ways to earn points, sometimes we add new ones sporadically. There are three primary ways to get points and sometimes some fun secondary ways.
Primary:
1. Purchases: You get 10 points for any dollar you spend on regularly priced products and 5 points for any dollar you spend on discounted products! So if you buy a regularly priced sleeping bag for $100, you get 1000 points. If you buy a discounted sleeping bag for $50, you get 250 points
2. Referrals: You get 1,000 points for referring someone who makes a purchase. *One time reward per referral. So if you refer 10 people who make a purchase, you get 10,000 points!
3. Reviews: You get 5 points just by reviewing any product you buy through AdventureShed. (Note: Subject to review, i.e. If you post a review "This product rocks" that may not fly with our review staff)
Secondary:
Right now we are running a couple secondary rewards options:
1. Send us a picture of you or someone your with using one of our products. If the image is accepted you earn 200 rewards points instantly.
2. Send us a review of our service to: reviews@adventureshed.com. If your review is accepted you earn 200 rewards points instantly.
"How do I start earning points?"
Well, you have to have an account on our site, so you should probably start there (Click here to create an account).
"Do my points expire?"
No, well maybe, but no... Overall, we'll leave expiring points to our competitors and airlines! However, if one of our staff gets bitten by your dog, your points expire (Assuming of course they didn't have a giant steak in their pocket).
“Can I transfer my points to another email address or give them to someone?”
Absolutely. Just email us with your new email address or the address you want them assigned to and consider it done! From time to time, as we all know, some people are hit by brutal forces in nature, such as global tidal waves or horrendous earthquakes. If you are trying to donate your points to such peoples in need, please call us first to see if we can help you.
